Cortex66 in your terminal.

One terminal agent over the AIs you already use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex and the AI apps on your computer. Install it from npm in one line.

Install from npm

npm install -g cortex66
cortex66

Or run it once without installing: npx cortex66. It needs a recent Node.js, and nothing runs during the install itself. The package page is cortex66 on npm.

What it does

Type a message, as in any chat. Each line is one Cortex66 turn: the brain picks the AI that fits each part, small jobs go to small, cheap models, and you see the cost cap on a receipt before anything runs. Type / for commands.

When agents work for you, the terminal shows what they do as they do it: which files were created or edited, with the lines added and removed, and which commands are running, how long they take and how they ended. Secrets are hidden before anything reaches the screen.

Connect the AIs you already use

Run /connect once inside the agent. It signs this computer in with a one-time code, then offers to connect the AI apps it finds, such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI. It asks before each one, keeps a backup, and changes only its own entry. More on connecting your AIs.

One memory, your keys first

The same memory you see on the web travels with you: confirm, fix or forget what it knows about you on your brain page. Your own plans and API keys are used first, and every task has a cost cap you accept before it runs.

Undo anything

cortex66 status tells you in plain words what is connected. cortex66 disconnect removes exactly what it added and revokes this computer. Every change it makes can be taken back.
