Photos in the chat, without your location.
Add a photo the way you would in any chat. Cortex66 removes its hidden data first and sends it only where your trust settings allow.
Add a photo
Use the photo button next to the message box, paste, drag and drop, or take one with your phone's camera. Each photo is made smaller, to at most 2048 pixels, before it is uploaded. You can add up to 10 photos to a message; a photo over 10 MB is refused with one line that says why. A photo can be sent on its own, without words, and a tap on a photo in a message opens it full screen.
The location data is removed
Before a photo is stored, Cortex66 removes its metadata: the EXIF data with its GPS location, XMP and text fields. Removing it does not touch the picture.
Which models see it
A photo goes only to a model that can see images and whose trust level allows files. If none of your models can take it, the chat says so and sends nothing. The cost of each photo is added to the receipt's estimate before the run starts.
Photos for your connected AIs
A task you send to a connected AI can carry photos, but only when that AI's trust level allows files. The AI then gets a private link for each photo that works for at most 15 minutes. When its trust level does not allow files, the photo stays with you and the task says that one photo was not shared because of your trust setting.
In the terminal
In the cortex66 terminal, /image <path> attaches a jpeg, png, webp or gif from your computer to the next message.
